I’m Ivan, the photographer behind Cloves Junior.
Originally from the Bronx, New York, I’ve been working in photography since 2002, developing a strong foundation through portrait work, commercial projects, street documentation, and event coverage.
These experiences shaped my technical skill, visual discipline, and approach to storytelling. Today, my focus is on toy photography — a space where cinematic lighting, character design, and narrative composition come together.
I create scenes that highlight detail, atmosphere, and personality, transforming collectible figures into expressive visual moments. My work is guided by clarity, patience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
I value authenticity, strong creative direction, and a refined visual style that reflects both my background and my professional experience.
Cloves Junior Studios represents the ongoing evolution of my craft. I continue to explore new techniques, expand my creative range, and produce imagery with intention and consistency.
“All characters, names, and designs belong to their rightful owners. I don’t own the rights to any of the figures I photograph — I just bring them to life through my lens.”
